Ich hatte es mir wie folgt vorgestellt. Aber ich denke Ihr habt recht und man sollte alle familientypischen Eigenschaften über x Family only Feats und (Class) Powers Regeln. Das hätte seine Vorteile. Ability Scores und Skill Bonuses würde ich aber weiterhin bei den Familien belassen.

Effect: Select a creature in sight and make a Shadowlands skill check (DC 10 + creature’s level). If you succeed and the creature is Shadowlands, your next attack roll against this creature during this encounter is considered a natural 20 (and probably a critical hit).

Ability Scores: +2 CON, +2 STR
Skill Bonuses: Endurance, Intimidate, Shadowlands
Favoured Classes: Yojimbo, Tactician, Berserker, Bushi
Your Hit Points at 1st Level and Hit Points per Level Gained are increased by 1.
Hiruma Family
Ability Scores: +2 CON, +2 DEX
Skill Bonuses: Athletics, Endurance, Nature, Shadowlands, Stealth
Favoured Classes: Berserker, Bushi, Ninja, Scout
Speed: +1 square
When using the Shift action, you can move 1 additional square.
Kaiu Family
Ability Scores: +2 WIS, +2 to any other ability score
Skill Bonuses: Perception, Shadowlands, Thievery
Favoured Classes: Tactician, Bushi
Kuni Family
Ability Scores: +2 CON, +2 INT
Skill Bonuses: Elements, Heal, Intimidate, Shadowlands
Favoured Classes: Shugenja(Earth), Magistrate
+2 to attack rolls against Shadowlands creatures.
Toritaka Family
Ability Scores: +2 WIS, +2 DEX
Skill Bonuses: +5 Perception, +2 Shadowlands
Favoured Classes: Shugenja(Air), Magistrate, Bushi, Scout
You automatically see invisible creatures within 5 squares (as if visible) and deal full damage against insubstantial creatures.
Yasuki Family
Ability Scores: +2 CHA, +2 WIS
Skill Bonuses: Bluff, Diplomacy, Insight, Intimidate, Streetwise
Favoured Classes: Courtier, Bushi
During character creation, choose Bluff or Intimidate. You can reroll any check using the chosen skill, but you must keep the second result, even if it is worse.
