Ludovico - All the races are balanced mechanically (no fluff advantages balancing out crunch). Humans get extra flexibility (free edges and improved stress-resistance), others get extra potential (through attribute maximums and race-specific edges) but, unlike in the standard SLA rules, you can play an effective human kick murder or death squad character. In fact, all those human CK characters actually become possible in these rules - when they're clearly not in the standard ones.

Stress: not cracking up under the pressure of life as an op
Drug Addiction: nothing comes for free in SLA
Telegenics: The ability to fight better in front of a camera
Ebb: We broke the Ebb rules up into a combination of edges and powers
Weapons & Armour: We deviated from SW quite a bit to bring in the things that make SLA SLA
That's it.
Also, we tried to make sure that the extra rules we added were all modular, so you can ditch anything that doesn't fit with your playstyle and not have it affect the rest of the conversion.
