Der folgende Text ist eigentlich ein Update unserer aktuellen Crowdfunding-Kampagne. Ich teile das Update aber trotzdem mal hier, da sicherlich der ein oder andere die Kampagne noch nicht kennt. Hier also das aktuelle Update:

Howdy, Sattelgefährten! Gut die Hälfte der Kampagne haben wir geschafft und mittlerweile sind die Grundbücher und das erste Stretchgoal finanziert! Vielen Dank, dass ihr uns bei unserer Arbeit so grandios unterstützt. Wir freuen uns wirklich sehr darüber und hoffen, dass euch die Produkte rocken werden.

Heute haben wir Bilder der ersten Prototypen für die Verzierung des Holzsargs der Goldschürfer-Edition erhalten. Hier mal ein kleiner Einblick:

Was die Produkte angeht, sind wir in den letzten Tagen desöfteren nach den Stretchgoals gefragt worden, und ich dachte, ich erzähle mal ein bisschen mehr dazu.

Das Deluxe-Lesezeichen


Wir hatten ja bereits angedeutet, dass uns kein “normales” Lesezeichen aus Karton oder Plastik vorschwebt. Nein, Deadlands ist ein Jubiläum für uns und wie die Deluxe-Edition, soll auch das Lesezeichen etwas ganz Besonderes sein. Wir haben daher ein Angebot für ein Metalllesezeichen in Form des Deadlands-Logos eingeholt. Daher ist die Schwelle für das Stretchgoal auch so hoch.

Was nutzt das beste Rollenspiel ohne Abenteuermaterial? Wir haben daher die deutsche Ausgabe der Abenteuersammlung “Saddle Sore” als Stretchgoal eingefügt. Die Abenteuer stammen aus der Feder von Paul “Wiggy” Wade-Williams, der den meisten wohl durch sein Fantasy-Setting Hellfrost bekannt ist.

It was idyllic, peaceful, serene almost and the coachman pulled his coat’s lapel up to ward off the morning chill. He took a sip from a heady drink in a metal flask, adjusted his cocked hat, and took his eyes off the road for a bare second. He died almost instantly as a creature leapt from the raised roadside, followed by a dozen others, his throat torn out and the flesh ripped asunder...


An Unexpected Meeting is the first of three parts of "Wayland's Secret", a story set in the universe of Ultima Forsan, a game setting developed for the Savage Worlds rules.
Attached to the novel there's a roundup of gaming information for those readers that would like to start playing straight away.

Heute war es aber endlich soweit, das Handbuch der verlorenen Loge und das Blutbuch der Kabale sind bei uns eingetroffen. Die Spedition hat es zwar hinbekommen unsere Bücher in die falsche Stadt zu liefern aber man hat uns wenigstens informiert und so habe ich mich heute persönlich in das Karnevals-Chaos gestürzt und die wertvollen Kleinode gerettet.
