Smartguns werden nach folgendem Schema gebaut:

Smartsystem (Blank Smartgun): (Total: 70 Active Cost, 21 Real Cost) Killing Attack - Ranged 1d6 (15 Active Points); OAF (-1), STR Minimum 6-14 (STR Min. Cannot Add/Subtract Damage; -1), Beam (-1/4), 12 Charges (-1/4), Required Hands One-And-A-Half-Handed (-1/4) (Real Cost: 4)

Random Schußwaffenwerte als Aufhänger.

plus +4 with Ranged Combat (20 Active Points); OAF (-1), Cyberbrain (Character needs Cyberbrain / DiveTrodes / Smartgoggles; -1), Required Hands Two-Handed (-1/2), Real Weapon (-1/4), Linked (Killing Attack - Ranged; -1/4) (Real Cost: 5)

Dazu 2-5 OCV All Ranged, gelinkt an die Schußwaffenwerte.

plus Penalty Skill Levels: +10 vs. Range Modifier with All Attacks (30 Active Points); OAF (-1), Real Weapon (-1/4), Cyberbrain (Character needs Cyberbrain / DiveTrodes / Smartgoggles; -1), Required Hands One-And-A-Half-Handed (-1/4), Linked (Killing Attack - Ranged; -1/4) (Real Cost: 8)

Dazu noch 5-15 Penalty Skill Levels vs. Range Modifier, ebenfalls an die Schußwaffenwerte gelinkt.

plus Mind Link , Cyberbrain class of minds, One Specific Mind (5 Active Points); OAF (-1), Only With Others Who Have Mind Link (-1), No Range (-1/2), Linked (Killing Attack - Ranged; -1/2), Extra Time (Delayed Phase, Only to Activate, -1/4) (Real Cost: 1)

Und letztlich natürlich noch die Voraussetzung für das ganze, die eigentliche Smartverbindung, die ein Cyberbrain + Mind Link voraussetzt. Alternativ auch über Dive Trodes oder Smartgoggles (Mind Link Machines als Equipment) benutzbar.

In vollendeter Form sieht das dann so aus:

Unterschied zwischen den beiden Versionen ist, dass die Goggles weniger störanfällig sind, während die Trodes einfach weniger auffallen.
