Also an Informationstransparenz habe ich da schon Wesentlich ärgeres gesehen.

Just to note, having tracked this for the forum, Kickstarter and other sources of data, the number of vocal activist anti-DRM advocates is below 1% across the board (no pun intended). That being said, I think there's a slighty larger number that prefer not to be exceptionally vocal activists, but do make purchasing choices based on their ideals, and will express this calmly at times - but from what I can tell, the SRR Kickstarter is not appropriately representative of their numbers - which makes me wonder how many purchase from sites like GoG because it's DRM-free or because they're getting a good price/easy install of a repacked old game...etc. And then there's a moderately larger number that express a "preference" but for them it's not a cause. The latter group, I think could be as high as a 1/3rd of gamers. And when I say gamers, I mean people who pay attention to gaming issues, not just people who buy and play games, or blog about them. These aren't off the cuff numbers, but they're not reached through a solid scientific method either, due to lack of access to reliable data, except for the forum numbers which are close enough to be reasonably reliable.

As for how I derived my data, I've been tallying the chummers who express stronger language in their support of DRM-free games, in comparison with the number of forum members that have been active on the forum within the same time period and either express nothing, antipathy, disagreement, or only casual agreement/a preference, with regards to DRM/DRM-free.
I realize this information might inspire someone to try using sockpuppets (one did already) to add more support for their argument, or to "gather the troops" from other communities to increase the voices on this forum to make their point that they're not a minority., and to promote their viewpoint.
However, now that I've stated all this, it would result in tainted data here on in. So I have stoppped gathering the data.

GoG.
